Trail Running calendar near Launceston 2026-2027

A timed multi-terrain event in Fowey on 21 November 2026 offering 8, 16, 24 and 32 km races plus a 4-person relay, with routes across Readymoney Cove and the coast path, app timing, medals for finishers and awards for top men and women.

An eight hour timed road event on a tarmac out and back route along an old disused train line near Exmouth. Laps are 5.3k and finishers who complete one to fourteen laps within the permitted time can collect a medal.

A trail running event at Mothecombe on the Erme Estuary offering an 8.5 mile Classic and a Half Marathon. Courses include estuary crossings, marked and marshalled trails, mandatory head torch and a finisher medal.

An 8 hour timed road event on 29 November 2026 near Littleham, Exmouth, with flexible turn up starts and 5.3 km tarmac laps on a former railway. Entrants are limited to 75 and medals are issued from a mixed batch.

The final race of the 2026 RTT Series takes place in Afan Forest with separate 5 km and 10 km routes from Bryn Bettws Lodge. The event features chip timing, finisher medals, marked and marshalled routes and water stations.

December 2026

Fordh Sen Mighal is an 11-mile trail race from Lelant to Marazion on the Cornish coast. The point-to-point route follows a scenic European cultural path. Parking is at the finish, with a bus service available near the start.

A Christmas-themed Santa run at Siblyback Lake on 5 December 2026 offering three timed distances and canicross-friendly options, with medals for all, awards for top finishers, free race photography and an on-site café.

A festive *10k* trail race in Cockington Country Park near Torquay with hilly, winding trails and countryside views. Finishers receive a bespoke metal medal and a choice of Christmas cake, mince pie or yule log.

A coastal event in Newquay on 12 December 2026 offering 30 miles, 15 miles and 8 miles routes, canicross entries, mandatory kit and GPS trackers for the longer distances.

A trail half marathon on 19 December 2026 at Bridgend Miniature Railway Centre combining an 8 mile section of The Hateful Eight with about five extra miles of muddy, technical terrain. Limited to 70 places with a costume prize and a bespoke..

A free, untimed community run along the canal between Bridgwater and Taunton with 14 and 7.5 mile options. Registration is required and basic medical cover will be available.

A community fun run in Salcombe on New Year’s Eve that loops around Snape’s Point over roughly 7 km. The event supports Salcombe RNLI and shows an entry price of £10.

A trail 10 km race in Sidmouth on 31 December 2026 following coastal paths and a loop around Mutters Moor, finishing at Connaught Gardens. Age limit 18 plus, trail shoes mandatory, two hour cutoff and medals for all finishers.

January 2027

An 8-hour timed road event in Exmouth on a measured 5.3 km out and back course along a former train line. Multiple-day challenge options are available; entry closes 26/12/2026 and places are limited to 100.

Trail event from Polzeath's golden beach with 10K, half, marathon and ultra routes along miles of unspoilt coastline, varied terrain and significant elevation; entries earn points for the Endurancelife season leaderboard.

A countryside trail event in Budleigh Salterton on 9 January 2027, featuring coastal views, the Otter valley and sections of footpath and dismantled railway. Two distances are offered with marked routes, aid station support and an oak finis..

Night trail races in Haldon Forest offering 10K, 5K, 2K and 1K distances plus a canicross option. Courses are marked and marshalled with chip timing, finishers medals, event photos and on-site catering.

A coastal trail event in Beesands offering 10K, half, marathon and ultra distances over rocky and sandy terrain. The course sits inside an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and includes inland Devon hills.
