Final Countdown Trail 10K : Sidmouth

The Final Countdown Trail 10 km takes place on Thursday 31 December 2026 in Sidmouth, East Devon. The event is a trail race held on New Year’s Eve and is staged along coastal and inland paths.

The route begins on Sidmouth seafront and follows South West Coast Path trails before turning inland for a loop around Mutters Moor and nearby woodland trails. The course returns by descent to finish at Connaught Gardens. There is a two hour cutoff for the event.

All finishers receive a bespoke Final Countdown medal. Trophies are awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed male and female finishers, and there are age group prizes for 1st place in each age group. Entry fees are listed as £23 for affiliated runners and £25 for unaffiliated runners.
