The Community Canal Run is a free running event organized by Channel Events in partnership with Start Running Stay Running and Taunton Running Club. Participants can choose between a scenic 14-mile route starting at the YMCA in Bridgwater and finishing at COACH in French Weir Park, Taunton, or a shorter 7.5-mile option starting from Maunsel Lock. The event promotes community engagement and supports the Canal and River Trust. While there are no timing or medals, participants are encouraged to register for insurance purposes.
