Haldon Night

Haldon Night is an evening trail running event at Haldon Forest, Bullers Hill, Kennford, Exeter EX6 7XR on 16 January 2027. The event features single loop courses for adult races and short laps for children. Routes are fully marked and marshalled; reflective poles and larger A4 arrows with reflective tape are used to aid navigation. Both adult routes start and finish at the event arch. Participants must bring a head or chest torch. Parking is available on site for a fee.

Distances include:

  • 10K single loop, canicross option available
  • 5K single loop; children aged eight and above may take part if accompanied by an adult
  • 2K two laps for children aged eight to eleven
  • 1K one lap for children aged three to seven

Race entry provides professional RFID chip timing, marked and marshalled routes, finisher medals, prizes for overall and category podiums, water and feed stations, event facilities and toilets, trained medics, event caterers, and public liability insurance.
