Event overview

Haldon Night is a set of night trail races at Haldon Forest Park, Bullers Hill, Kennford, Exeter EX6 7XR on 17 January 2026. The event features single-loop trail courses and runs in darkness, so participants must bring a head or chest torch. A 10K canicross option is included. Routes start and finish at a Start/Finish arch and are marked with reflective poles and orange-on-white directional arrows with reflective tape. Parking is available on site for a fee.

Distances:

  • 10K (one lap) : age 15 on day of event or older
  • 10K Canicross : age 16 on day of event or older
  • 5K (one lap) : age 12 on day of event; children aged 8 and above may take part if accompanied by an adult
  • 2K (two laps) : ages 8–11
  • 1K (one lap) : ages 3–7

Race entry includes professional RFID chip timing, fully marked and marshalled routes, finishers medals, category and overall prizes, water and feed stations, event toilets, trained medics, event caterers, public liability insurance and event photos.
