Oh My Obelisk!
Oh My Obelisk is a multi-terrain running event that follows a route from Dawlish Leisure Centre up to the Obelisk at Mamhead. Two route options are provided: a nine mile course and a thirteen mile half marathon course. Route files for both distances are made available.

The course includes uphill sections and passes through wooded and open sections, including Mamhead Woods. Photographs from recent editions show start and finish areas, forested stretches, and approaches to the finish. Results and finish lists have been published for multiple years, with recent editions including 2024, 2025 and 2026, and archives of past results extending back to 2008.
The event is organised by the Dawlish Coasters running club. The next scheduled event date is 17 January 2027. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
