Dark Dart Dash - Dartington Hall

The Dark Dart Dash is a mixed-terrain running event organised by Sportiva Events and returning after a break. Registration and post-race hospitality are hosted at the Green Table Cafe, which will offer pizzas, hot drinks and a bar. The event helps raise funds for a new children's playground at Dartington Hall and takes place at Green Table, Lower Drive, Dartington, Dartington Hall, Totnes TQ9 6EE.

Distances and options include:

  • 10K single-lap course
  • 5K single-lap course
  • 1K kids run for ages 3-8
  • 2K kids run for ages 8-11
  • Canicross options start after the individual races

The kids courses are mostly on grass. The longer courses use mixed terrain including gravel, grass, some tarmac and, at times, muddy sections. Parents may run with their children in the kids races at no extra charge. Children aged 8 and above may enter the 5K only if accompanied by an adult at all times.

Participants must bring a head or chest torch. Trail shoes are strongly recommended. Race entry includes professional RFID chip timing, fully marked and marshalled routes, a finishers medal, a free beer or hot drink for finishers, prizes for category podiums, water and feed stations, event facilities and toilets, fully trained medics and public liability insurance. Parking at the venue car park may require payment. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
