Event

The South Devon stage of the Endurancelife Coastal Trail Series takes place in Beesands, South Devon on 24 January 2026. The route lies within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). The event offers four distance categories: 10K, Half Marathon, Marathon, and Ultra. Participants who complete any distance will be awarded points and listed on the Season Leader Board for the 2025-26 trail running season.

Course and logistics

The course is described as severe terrain with grass and rock surfaces and includes inland sections with notable ascent. Distances and total ascent are:

  • 10K - 6.9 miles; ascent 1,283 ft
  • Half Marathon - 13.3 miles; ascent 2,238 ft
  • Marathon - 27.6 miles; ascent 4,583 ft
  • Ultra - 33.8 miles; ascent 5,397 ft

Mandatory kit requirements were updated; the summary notes fewer required items for the Half Marathon and clarified water-carrying capacity. Full kit details are provided in the Participant Manual. Check-in will be requested online about two weeks before the event; the process includes confirming a postal address for posting the participant number and watching a mandatory safety video.
