The South Devon coastal trail run takes place at Beesands on 23 January 2027 and starts at Start Point. The route lies within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and combines coastal sections with inland climbs. Surfaces include grass and rock, and the organiser describes the terrain as severe with substantial ascent on the longer courses.

Trail runs nearby

A mostly flat, multi terrain race of about 4 miles around Dawlish Warren with beach, sea wall and coastal footpath sections. Finishers receive a bespoke medal and a complementary ice cream.

A multi-distance coastal event on Mount Edgcumbe peninsula using a roughly 10.6K loop repeated for half and full marathons. Options include 10K, canicross and kids races plus chip timing and finishers medals.

An eight mile trail on the South West Coast Path around Goodrington with coastal and woodland sections, Race HQ at Youngs Park, and a three hour cut off; finishers receive a bespoke medal and a treat.

An evening fell race at Merrivale on June 17 with a senior 9.5 km course featuring steep climbs, ridge sections and fast descents. Limited entries, on the day registration if spaces remain, and basic facilities including parking and refresh..
