Trail Running calendar near Lambton Park 2026-2027

Trail runs at Derwent Reservoir feature 5 mile and 10 mile routes around the reservoir on mixed terrain. The 10 mile includes closed road sections; live chip timing is used and finishers receive a medal, merchandise, snack and drink.

A self guided circa 37 mile challenge from Goathland in the North York Moors National Park visiting five triangulation pillars. Solo entrants and pairs compete with limited places and mandatory kit and checkpoint checks.

A new 10km trail run around Bamburgh Castle and the beach on the Northumberland coast. The Saturday event features live chip timing, allows one dog per runner, and includes finisher medals and on-site parking.

A circular trail of about 52 km through the Yorkshire Wolds starting and finishing at Field House Camping and Coffee Barn near Tibthorpe. Entry includes live GPS tracking, four staffed checkpoints, free parking and a 12 hour cut off.

A canicross event in Dodd Wood with fully marked forest courses and views over Bassenthwaite Lake. Options of an 8K or 5K loop, chip timed, and allows two dogs per runner on mainly wide trails.

An annual fell race across the Three Peaks area with main, relay and junior events. Relay teams of six cover three defined legs; the event is part of the World Mountain Running Ranking and is a UTMB Index race.
