Trail Running calendar near Great Ponton 2026-2027

A Peak District fell race on 14 April 2027 covering 4.8 km with 340 m of ascent. Pre-entry and on-the-day entry are available and juniors aged 14 and over run in the main race.

A 50K trail ultra on the Chiltern Hills ridgeline from Berkhamsted Castle to Hampden Meadow, passing Ashridge and Ivinghoe Beacon. Fully marked course with three aid stations and a nine hour time limit.

A scenic *10 km* trail race on Sunday 18 April 2027 around the Nene Valley, starting and finishing at KC Active in Kings Cliffe. The circular, waymarked route uses farm tracks and disused railway lines and features a staffed aid station.

Trail runs at Elvaston Castle Country Park offering 10.4k, 14.5k and 21.1k distances. Routes pass through woodland, parkland and riverside trails along the River Derwent with marked courses, marshals, water stations and chip timing.
