The Other Run
The Other Run takes place on Sunday 25 April 2027 at Suffolk Running Centre, Church Road, Bury St Edmunds, IP29 5AX. The event offers multiple road race distances on mainly quiet, open roads.
The route options:
- 5k
- 10k
- Half marathon
- Marathon
The marathon follows the officially measured Kirtling Route, which is fully on road and described as mildly undulating and scenic. The half marathon is a single loop using the Windmill Route. The 5k and 10k use turnaround points for shorter distances.
There is an aid station with drinks and nibbles approximately every 10 km, and a water/aid station at the race base camp and lap point. Parking is included in the entry. The event is cupless so runners must provide their own bottles or cups for refilling. The field is limited to 300 entrants and the minimum age is 18 years. Transfers close in April 2027 and entries close on 23 April 2027. The event uses a mass start and has a seven-hour cut off.
Entrants receive an email confirmation and a link to the race briefing information pack. A bespoke finisher medal is provided, with an optional lucky dip finisher medal if that option is selected. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
