Trail Running calendar near Great Ponton 2026-2027

Peak Raid Race 4 in Alstonefield is a three hour fell running score event across Peak District hills and dales. Competitors choose their own route, compete solo or in pairs, and must carry FRA mandatory kit.

Celebrate New Year's Eve with the Wormstones fell race in the Peak District, an energetic 8 km with about 400 m of climb. Join at The Beehive in Glossop on 31 Dec 2026 for tough trails, great company and curry after the run.

The 20th Hangover Hike on 1 January 2027 starts and finishes at The Leggers Inn in Dewsbury, offering circular routes of 21, 13 and 10 miles with checkpoint refreshments and a finisher certificate.

A winter multi-stage trail run in Sheffield with 11 timed stages and 20 km of timed trails within a 24 km route. Stage and overall times are recorded promptly and entries are available for solo runners or pairs.

The Moonriver - Night Race will take place in Ashbourne on Friday 8 January 2027. You can run 10 kilometers.

A 43 mile ultra from Wendover to Little Venice in London combining country trails, roads and long canal towpath sections. Waymarked course with real-time GPS tracking, five checkpoints, mandatory kit list, prizes for the top three and medal..

A lapped multi terrain event at Brandon Country Park with a 5.3 km loop. Run as far as possible within a 4 or 6 hour window, with aid each lap, marshal support, and bespoke medal options.

A continuous 268 mile winter race along the Pennine Way from Edale to Kirk Yetholm with a 156 hour time limit. The route includes over 10,700 metres of ascent and winter conditions such as deep snow and strong winds.

Navigate the terrain of Cannock Chase in this 27 km fell race starting from Milford Common. Participants must use navigation skills across a 540 m climb with full FRA kit required for the journey.
