WTF - Where's The Finish? is a timed challenge event at Brandon Country Park, Bury Road, Brandon, Suffolk, IP27 0SU, in the heart of Thetford Forest. Participants can enter a 6-hour or a 4-hour format and run as many laps of the course as they wish within their chosen time. The event offers a bespoke event medal, with a lower-cost lucky-dip finisher medal as an alternative. Virtual places are available through the organiser for those who want the medal but cannot attend in person. Entry is open to adults aged 18 and over. Price options are listed between £34 and £38.

Course and logistics

The course is a 5.3k lap around the forest using gravel footpaths and some grass areas - a multi-terrain route. Typical race distances are:

  • Ultra Marathon

A heavy half marathon is set at five laps by standard, with options to increase to six or seven laps on the day. An ultra is set at nine laps by standard, with the possibility to increase up to about 12 laps depending on time. Race HQ and the aid station are at the start and lap point; there is an aid station each lap. Parking at the park is chargeable and marshals will direct arrivals.
