Zig Zag Running : WTF Where's The Finish?

This is a lapped running event held at Brandon Country Park in the heart of Thetford Forest. The course is a multi terrain loop of 5.3 km that follows gravel footpaths and some grass areas.

Participants choose between a four hour or a six hour format and may complete as many laps as they can within their chosen duration. Runners may rest between laps and return to the course as desired. Standard lap targets are given as a guide: a heavy half marathon is typically five laps with options to increase on the day, and an ultra marathon is typically nine laps with the possibility of additional laps if time allows.

Race HQ and the aid station are located at the start and lap point. There is an aid station on every lap. Race registration issues bib numbers on arrival and there is a baggage area left at the owner’s risk. Marshals will direct parking on the day; park parking is chargeable. The organisers suggest road trainers but note trail shoes may be useful depending on prior weather.

A bespoke finisher medal is provided unless the Lucky Dip medal option is chosen. Virtual entries are available for those who want a medal but cannot attend in person. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
