High Lodge 16k Guided Trail Run December
This guided event at High Lodge in Thetford Forest, Brandon, Suffolk (IP27 0AF) covers a distance of 16k on woodland trails. Guides provide factual information about the local forest and practical tips on trail running during the run.
The route uses a mix of hard-packed tracks and single-track trails. Terrain is described as mostly flat with a couple of small hills; leaders will offer advice on hill technique. The organiser is ESCAPE trails. The listed entry price is £17.50. Event timing allows up to 2.5 hours to complete the run, depending on group ability. There is plenty of parking at High Lodge and attendees will be charged £3 for parking.
