Suffolk County Cross Country Championships
The Suffolk County Cross Country Championships take place on Sunday 3 January 2027 at Nowton Park, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk IP29 5LU. The event is held under UKA and ECCA rules. Entry is by online procedure only; entries open 31 October 2026 and the closing date is 26 December 2026. Entries received after the closing date will not be accepted.
County qualification is by birth, by nine months continuous bona fide residence in the county immediately prior to the competition, or by service in a Unit of HM Forces stationed in the county.
Age groups and birth ranges are: U12 born between 01.09.15 and 31.08.17 (school years 5 and 6) U14 born between 01.09.13 and 31.08.15 (school years 7 and 8) U16 born between 01.09.11 and 31.08.13 (school years 9 and 10) U18 born between 01.09.09 and 31.08.11 (school years 11 and 12) U20 born between 01.01.08 and 31.08.09 Senior born on or before 31.12.07
Race distances by age group:
- U12 girls and U12 boys - 2 km
- U14 girls and U14 boys - 3 km
- U16 girls and U16 boys - 4 km
- U18 women - 5 km
- U20 women and U18 men - 6 km
- Senior women and U20 men - 8 km
- Senior men - 10 km
Audio devices are not permitted while racing; athletes using them during a race will be disqualified. Historical results are listed for past years including 2008 through 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
