Die Hard Christmas Marathon / Half Marathon

The event takes place on Thursday 24th December 2026 at the Premier Inn, Lakeside Grove, Bletcham Way, Caldecotte, Milton Keynes MK7 8HP. Races run clockwise around Caldecotte Lake.

  • Marathon: 7½ laps of Caldecotte Lake
  • Half Marathon: 3½ laps of Caldecotte Lake

There is a hard time limit for each race. The Marathon has a 7:00 hour limit and finishers beyond that are recorded as DNF. The Half Marathon has a 4:00 hour limit. All finishers each day receive a unique bespoke medal. Race support includes a starter, timekeeper, race referee, a large pub car park, and water and toilets available every lap of the lake course. The event is held in accordance with 100 Marathon Club rules.

Entry fees are stated as £39.99 for the Marathon and £34.99 for the Half Marathon. The organiser’s cancellation policy does not permit refunds; entries may be deferred up to seven days before the event and transferred to another Enigma event not closed to entries, and deferred entries must be used within 18 months. Participants must be 18 or over, declare they are medically fit, accept the risks of participation, and accept limits on organiser liability to the extent permitted by law. A 49 mile point to point Thames Path ultra from Oxford to Henley with three checkpoints, mandatory navigation kit and a bespoke finisher medal plus kit options.

A 12 hour multi terrain lap event at Riverside Park, St Neots, held alongside two triathlons as part of a festival. Entries are Solo, Pair or Teams of 3 to 6; awards, medals, family activities and camping are provided.

The Stopsley Trail Race on Sunday 9 August 2026 offers 5K, 5 miles and 10 miles on scenic undulating trails along the Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire border. Entries include chip timing, bespoke medals, free photos and participant goodies.
