The Die Hard Christmas races take place on 24th December 2026 at the Premier Inn, Lakeside Grove, Bletcham Way, Caldecotte, Milton Keynes, MK7 8HP. The courses run clockwise around Caldecotte Lake. Distances offered:

  • Marathon - 7.5 laps of Caldecotte Lake
  • Half Marathon - 3.5 laps of Caldecotte Lake

Race support includes a starter, timekeeper and race referee. Water and toilet facilities are provided every lap of the lake course. A large pub car park is listed as nearby.

Entries, limits and rules

Entry fees are listed as £39.99 for the Marathon and £34.99 for the Half Marathon. Time limits are strict: the Marathon has a 7:00 hour limit and the Half Marathon has a 4:00 hour limit; finishers over these limits are recorded as DNF. All finishers receive a unique bespoke medal.

The event is held in accordance with 100 Marathon Club rules. Participants must be 18 years or older on the day and declare they are medically fit to compete. The organiser does not offer refunds. Deferred entries can be transferred to another Enigma event up to seven days before the event and must be used within 18 months. Participants are advised to wear suitable clothing and footwear.
