Event Overview
'Twas The Run Before Christmas returns for its sixth edition, held at High Lodge in Thetford Forest. This event provides a self-contained running environment where participants have exclusive use of the main area. The course consists of a 5.3 km loop within the forest grounds, primarily on pathways with some sections of trails and woodland. Depending on the weather, road trainers are generally sufficient, though trail shoes are an alternative option.

Participant Information
The event has a maximum time limit of six hours. A water and aid station is positioned at the lap point, allowing runners to refuel without carrying extra equipment. This is a cupless event, so participants must bring their own cups or bottles for refills. Registration and post-race refreshments are located at Oak Lodge, where complimentary tea, coffee, and cake are provided to those who finish.
Finishers receive a bespoke event medal, or they may choose a "lucky dip" option from a selection of medals from previous events. Parking is available on-site at a discounted rate for those with a participant QR code. Additionally, 20% of the entry fee is contributed to the maintenance and care of the woodlands in Thetford Forest. Festive dress is permitted but not mandatory.
