Twas The Run Before Christmas is scheduled for Sunday 13 December 2026 at High Lodge, Thetford Forest, Brandon IP27 0AF. The event offers a range of fixed distances on a looped course within the forest grounds.

The route uses a 5.3 km loop within Thetford Forest, with the final route to be confirmed. The surface is mainly pathway with a short section of trails and woodland. Organisers recommend road trainers but note that trail shoes may be useful depending on pre-event weather. A water aid station will be located at the lap point to support runners.

Lap details are specified for longer distances: the heavy half is set at five laps with the option to change to six or seven on the day, and the ultra is set at nine laps with the option to increase up to twelve depending on available time. A six hour event cut off is in place and a four hour cut off applies to later starts.

Event logistics state exclusive use of the main area adjacent to Oak Lodge, where registration will take place and teas, coffee and cake will be provided on completion. Parking for participants will be discounted to £5 with a QR code. The event is cupless so participants should bring their own cups or bottles. Entry limits are 300, minimum age 18, and entries close 11/12/2026. Twenty percent of each entry fee supports forest upkeep.
