Round Sheffield Run is a multi-stage trail running event held across Sheffield parkland and trails in January 2027. The event uses a sequence of short, timed sections that together form a continuous route through varied terrain in the city.

The format comprises 11 timed stages. In total 20 km of the route are run as timed stages within a 24 km overall route length. Each stage is timed separately and an overall time is also recorded; stage and overall times are issued within seconds of finishing.

Racing is organised as a series of mini races with walking or resting allowed between stages to recover and regroup. Entries can be made for individual runners or for pairs. The event includes options for friendly competition and supports a range of performance levels, from elite competitors to those newer to off-road racing.

The route features a mix of climbs, flowing trails and parkland sections. A festival atmosphere follows the event with draft ales, food and a DJ for post-race socialising.
