The event takes place at Suffolk Running Centre, Church Road, Bury St Edmunds, IP29 5AX. It offers a seven hour cut off and a Race HQ/Base Camp at the start and lap point where the main water and aid station is based.

Routes and format are described as follows. Runners under half marathon distance use an out and back course with a required turnaround. The half marathon is one loop and the full marathon is two loops. The ultra uses the run to the 5k turnaround point as part of its routing. The event will utilise the Hargrave Half course and Mount Barrow for the 5k and 10k.

Aid stations supplying drinks and snacks are placed approximately every 10k along the route. Parking is included in the entry price. The event has adopted a cupless policy so participants should bring their own bottles or cups for refilling. Entry confirmations are emailed and include a link to the race briefing information pack.

A guided 16k trail run at High Lodge in Thetford Forest led at a conversational pace with group placement and hill technique guidance. Terrain includes hard packed trails and woodland single track, fee £17.50 with parking charged at £3.
