High Lodge Half Marathon Autumn
High Lodge Half Marathon Autumn is a circular 13.1 miles trail race based at High Lodge in Thetford Forest. The course uses a mix of hard packed sand, grassy footpaths and forest trails and passes areas known for wildlife such as fallow deer and wild thyme. The route is traffic free and described as well signed.
The event is manually timed and has a 3.5 hour cut off for the half marathon. Minimum age to enter is 17 years. Race numbers are issued at the race start and are not posted out in advance. The event is cupless; fresh drinking water will be available for refilling personal bottles but no single use cups will be provided.
All finishers receive a medal and the top three male and female finishers receive trophies. Toilets are available at the start and finish and professional photography is provided. The race holds TRA permit 6989.
This is a multi terrain event; organisers state that appropriate grippy footwear is essential. Medical assistance will be available during the event but participants enter at their own risk and must ensure they are medically fit to take part.
