High Lodge Half Marathon Autumn
This event is a circular half marathon held at High Lodge in Thetford Forest, Brandon IP27 0AF. The Half marathon (13.1 miles) follows a well signed multi‑terrain route through forest and open areas, using hard‑packed sand, grassy footpaths and forest trails. The route is traffic free and passes through habitat for wildlife such as fallow deer and wild thyme.
The race is manually timed and professional photography is provided. A finisher medal is available for an additional £4, and trophies are awarded to the top three male and female finishers. Toilets are available at the venue. To reduce single use waste the event is cupless; fresh drinking water is provided for refilling personal bottles rather than in disposable cups.
Entry requires a minimum age of 17 years and a 3.5 hour cut off for the half marathon. Race numbers are not posted in advance and must be collected at the event registration desk on race day. Participants are responsible for their own fitness and safety on varied terrain; appropriate grippy footwear is recommended. Medical assistance will be available during the event, but organisers and landowners accept no liability for injuries sustained.
