The Spooky 5K Social Run - Roudham
The event is a multi terrain social run on a 5K loop in Roudham, Norfolk NR16 2RJ on 29 October 2026. The route uses a mix of footpaths, byways and minor roads and includes surfaces such as roots, tarmac, stones and sand. Depending on conditions, participants may encounter mud and puddles. The course crosses a railway line twice.
The run takes place in very dark conditions, so participants are asked to bring at least one torch or running lights. Fancy dress is encouraged, but occupants should consider visibility and sightlines when wearing masks or costumes.
Organisers provide group leadership with one leader keeping the pace of the slowest runner and another at the front to guide the group. A route map will be supplied and a GPX file can be made available for watches or phones. Runners who choose to go ahead of the group are responsible for finding their own way back.
Parking information and a pre-event briefing will be emailed to participants. Hot and cold drinks and cake will be available at the finish. The event is not suitable for under 16s, buggies, dogs or werewolves and vampires. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
