Peak Raid Race 3 – Alstonefield (16 November 2025)

Peak Raid Race 3 is a fell running event at Alstonefield in the Peak District on 16 November 2025. It is the third race in a series of four three-hour events; the series also includes Edale (21 September 2025), Hayfield (12 October 2025) and Eastern Moors and Burbage Valley (7 December 2025). Entries open 11 February 2025 and close 13 November 2025. Entry fees are listed with advance price bands (solo and pairs: £20, rising to £22 from 20/10/2025 and £25 from 10/11/2025) and FRA members receive a £2 reduction. Entries recorded at the time of the listing were 30.

Format, categories and equipment

The event uses a three-hour score format with electronic timing (SiTiming). Competitors receive a waterproof map and control description and must plan their own route to visit controls and collect points within the time limit; late return incurs point penalties. Minimum age is 14 and age category is based on age on 31/12/2025; for pairs the category is set by the older runner. There are 15 competition categories including solo, pairs and mixed pairs, plus a parent or guardian & under 18 category. Competitors must carry FRA mandatory minimum kit: waterproof jacket and trousers with taped seams and hood, hat, gloves, map, compass, whistle, emergency food and a survival bag.
