Salcey Forest Christmas 10k, 5k and Junior Fun Run
The event takes place at Salcey Forest, Wootton Road, Northampton, NN7 2HX on 13 December 2026. Races use tree lined forest paths with mixed terrain that is described as virtually flat but sometimes muddy. Seasonal fancy dress is welcome and there is a prize for the best seasonal outfit.
Route details note that the 5k is one lap and the 10k is two laps of the same course. A 1.2 km Junior Fun Run is also included. Discounted parking is available for runners and a parking charge of £3.80 is listed to cover parking for two hours from the start of the race.
The event raises funds for Shelter. Included for participants are a bespoke medal, free photographs, and trophies and prizes for leading runners.
