The Salcey Forest Christmas race is scheduled for 14/12/2025 at Salcey Forest, Northamptonshire. Distances offered include:

  • 5k
  • 1.2km Junior Fun Run

The 5k is one lap and the 10k is two laps of forest trails. The course is mixed-terrain, described as virtually flat and sometimes muddy. Seasonal fancy dress is welcome and there is a prize for the best seasonal fancy dress outfit. Awards include bespoke finish medals, free photographs, and trophies or prizes for leading runners. The event raises funds for Shelter.

Detailed route maps, including GPX files, are available for download. On-the-day entry fees (subject to availability) are listed as: 10k £30, 5k £25, Junior Run £7. Discounted parking is available for runners; a parking charge of £3.50 covers parking for two hours from the start of the race. Join 5th Sundon Saunter on Sunday 16 November 2025, a friendly LDWA countryside challenge offering 13, 18 and 27 mile routes for walkers and runners. Enjoy undulating paths and checkpoint navigation; bring your printed route and basic kit.

Experience the Petzl Night Trails 10K at Salcey Forest under torchlight. Tackle a two lap trail, bring a head torch, enjoy Petzl demos, canicross starts and post race hot drinks plus a medal or tree token.

Enjoy panoramic Chiltern views on woodland trails at Wendover Woods with 5K, 10K and Half Marathon distances plus a spirited 5K Canicross for dogs and owners. Finishers receive a custom medal and enjoy the friendly ATW event atmosphere.

Tackle 26.3 miles around Colworth Estate with five scenic laps of gently undulating trail and lanes, including woodland paths and narrow sections. Friendly club facilities, cup free so bring your own bottle, 30 November in Sharnbrook.
