Salcey Forest Christmas 10k, 5k & Junior Fun Run
The event takes place at Salcey Forest, Wootton Road, Northampton NN7 2HX on 13 December 2026. Runners follow tree lined forest trails on mixed terrain that is described as virtually flat but can be muddy in places.
Distances offered:
- 10 km, two laps of the forest route
- 5 km, one lap of the forest route
- 1.2 km Junior Fun Run
Participants receive a bespoke medal and free photographs. Trophies and prizes are awarded to leading runners, and there is a prize for the best seasonal fancy dress outfit. Organisers note discounted parking for runners; the site is accessible from the M1. There are no nearby train stations, but bus stops in Hartwell are close to the venue.
