The 13th Colworth Hare and Tortoise Run

The event is a 26.3 mile route run over five laps around the Colworth Estate in north Bedfordshire. The course follows gently undulating trail and unclassified road and includes some woodland paths with uneven surface and tree roots. Several sections of path are narrow, so entries are limited.

Solo entrants must be aged 18 or over on the event date. Teams are entered in groups of five, with a maximum of 15 teams and each team member required to be over 15 years of age. Entry fees are stated as Individual £23 affiliated or £25 unaffiliated, and Team of five £50 per team. Entries open 6 September 2026 and close 27 November 2026.

Facilities at the Colworth House Sports and Social Club include toilets and car parking. There is a checkpoint each lap providing water, flat cola and individually wrapped snacks, with additional drinks at the half lap point. The event is cup free so participants should bring their own bottle, mug or hydration bladder. Dogs are permitted when under responsible control. Organizers may provide baggage storage, changing rooms, showers and hot food at the finish subject to any prevailing restrictions and without accepted liability for stored items. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
