A trail running event in Alton on 12 September 2026 offering a 10 km trail and a 2 mile fun run. The route uses gravel tracks and woodland trails and passes through the grounds of Alton Castle; medals for all finishers.

A 50 mile circular ultramarathon through the Lincolnshire Wolds starting from Swallow Village Hall. The course gains about 1,370 m of elevation, features four aid stations, an 18 hour cut off and limited entry for 150 runners.

A 10 mile trail run on the North York Moors along the Lykewake Walk visiting Lilla Howe and Louven Howe, with navigation expected, a three hour time limit and a bespoke finisher medal. Entry limited to 50 runners aged 18 or older.

A long established off road event on 13 September 2026 with marathon and half marathon routes across moorland, trails and woods, live timing, multiple feed stations and event clothing and prizes.

Bradley Fell Race in Bradley Village near Skipton features a 3.50 mile fell course with about 274 meters of climb, age categories from Under 9 to Seniors, and registration plus parking at the U9 field.

Scenic trail races from Bakewell Showground in the Peak District offering a half marathon, 15k and 9.1k. Routes follow the Monsal Trail with river and Chatsworth views and include chip timing, refreshments and a finisher medal.

Tackle the Ilam Three Peaks fell race on Sun 13 Sep 2026 in the Peak District, a punchy 6.4 km route with 520 m of climb across classic fell terrain. Pre entry required, so book early for this steep, scenic challenge.

TrailFest at Holdenby House offers four traffic free trail distances inside a private estate, with routes on farm tracks, field edges and through a small wood, plus rolling hills and open countryside views.
