Pilgrim's Reckoning

Pilgrim's Reckoning is an 81 miles circular ultra-running event on the historic Bunyan Trail in Bedfordshire. The route follows the official Bunyan Way markers throughout and passes through countryside, forests and villages.

Competitors must complete the full loop within a 24 hours time limit. Navigation is provided by the official waymarking for the Bunyan Way so runners follow the marked trail for the whole route.

Support on course includes six fully stocked aid stations positioned around the route, a drop-bag service at one designated aid station, and medical support provided on route. Live tracking is available for all participants for safety and spectator viewing.

All finishers receive a bespoke event medal. A finishers T shirt is included for those who complete the course within the time limit.

The event is organised by Thunder Races and is based at Bedford Greenacres Independent School, Manton Lane, Bedford MK41 7FZ. Entry information lists an individual entry fee of £180.00 plus an £8.98 booking fee and a non refundable policy with limited deferral options managed by the organiser.
