Race The Light at Wendover Woods is a Saturday evening trail running event at Wendover Woods, Upper Icknield Way, Aston Clinton, Aylesbury, HP22 5NQ. The next edition is scheduled for 18th July 2026. Proceeds from the event are donated to the Chilterns Neuro Centre, which supports people affected by multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s and stroke. The 5K and 10K routes take place entirely on trails within the woods with no road crossings or gates. The course is fully marked and marshalled and uses a mix of flowing paths with undulating sections, including climbs and long descents. A 1.5K fully accessible loop is provided for wheelchair users.

Additional facts: maximum field of 500 runners; race held under TRA permits and UKA rules; cups provided at aid stations, with a water stop at about halfway on the 10K and water/sweets noted for the 5K. Dogs are not permitted. The event provides chip timing with live results, a finisher souvenir, medical support, onsite car parking and a bag drop.
