ATW St Albans Summer 10K

The event is a chip timed 10K held at Highfield Park in St Albans. The single lap course follows the tree lined Alban Way out towards Hatfield, makes a loop via Sleapshyde and returns along the Alban Way. Most of the route is on tarmac, finishes on a grass field and is mostly traffic free.

An event village runs alongside the race. The day includes a free family fun run for all ages, a kids zone, a café operated by Cow Juice, live music, massage and ice cream. The race offers pacers, well marked marshal points, free event photos, a custom designed medal and finish line snacks.

The event lists a partner charity, Alzheimer's Research UK, with opportunities to donate and fundraise at checkout. Standard entry for the 10K is shown as £33. Parking is available for a charge of £3 depending on field conditions and St Albans City Station is about a 1.5 mile walk from the venue.

ATW provides a transfer option in place of refunds or name transfers. Entries can be moved to a future ATW event up to 48 hours before the scheduled event date without proof of reason. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
