Course and race features

The race is a single lap that starts and finishes in Highfield Park. The route runs along the disused, tree-lined Alban Way towards Hatfield, makes a loop via Sleapshyde, and returns along the Alban Way. Most of the course is on tarmac, finishes across a grass field, and is largely traffic-free. The event is described as flat. Pacers are available. The course is well marked and supported by marshals.

The event village includes a free family fun run, a kids zone, a Cow Juice Cafe, live music, massage services, and ice cream. Participants receive free event photos, a custom designed medal, and finish line snacks and goodies. Parking is available for a charge of £3 depending on field conditions. St Albans City Station is about a 1.5 mile walk from the venue.
