ATW St Albans Summer 10K

The ATW St Albans Summer 10K takes place on Sunday 19 July 2026 at Highfield Park, St Albans, Hertfordshire. The event is a single lap 10 km run that starts and finishes in Highfield Park and follows the tree-lined, disused railway known as the Alban Way. The route runs toward Hatfield, makes a loop via Sleapshyde, and returns along the Alban Way. Most of the course is on tarmac, the finish is across a grass field, and the route is largely traffic free.

The event is chip timed and is held on a generally flat course. Pacers are available. The event village includes a free family fun run for all ages, a kids zone, live music, a Cow Juice Cafe serving drinks and food, massage services and ice cream. Supportive marshals and a well marked course are provided. Participants receive a custom designed medal, free event photos and finish line snacks and goodies.

The event lists a charity partnership with Alzheimer’s Research UK and provides opportunities to donate and fundraise at checkout. Parking is available for a charge of £3 depending on field conditions. Transfers to future ATW events are permitted up to 48 hours before the event; refunds and transfers to another person are not offered.
