The race is chip-timed and pacers are available. The event village includes a kids zone after the fun run, a cafe called Cow Juice, live music, massage services, and ice cream. Finishers receive a custom medal. The event offers free event photos and finish-line snacks.

Course and logistics

The single-lap course starts and finishes in Highfield Park and follows the Alban Way, a flat, tree-lined former railway toward Hatfield, then loops via Sleapshyde and returns along the Alban Way. Most of the route is on tarmac, finishes on a grass field, is mostly traffic-free, and is described as well marked with supportive marshals.

The organiser is ATW, a national events company. Parking is available for a charge of £3, subject to field conditions. St Albans City Station is about a 1.5 mile walk from the venue. The organiser does not offer refunds or entry transfers to another person; entrants can transfer their entry to a future ATW event up to 48 hours before the original event date without providing proof.
