Event overview

The ATW St Albans Summer 10K is a road running event held on 19 July 2026 at Highfield Park in St Albans, Hertfordshire. The event is organised by Active Training World (ATW) and features a 10K race that is chip-timed. A free family fun run for all ages is scheduled in the event village and a kids zone is available afterwards. The event village also includes food and drink from Cow Juice Cafe, live music, massage services, and ice cream.

Course and facilities

The single-lap route starts and finishes in Highfield Park and follows the flat, tree-lined disused railway line called the Alban Way towards Hatfield, makes a loop via Sleapshyde, and returns along the Alban Way. Most of the route is traffic-free, run on tarmac, and finishes on a grass field. The course is described as well marked and supported by marshals. Participants receive free event photos, a custom medal, and finish-line snacks.

Entry, access and policies

Entry is open to people aged 15 and over on 19 July 2026. Entry fees are listed between £26 and £28. Parking is available for a charge of £3, depending on field conditions. St Albans City Station is approximately a 1.5 mile walk from the venue. The organiser does not offer refunds or transfers to another person, but entries can be transferred to a future ATW event up to 48 hours before the event.
