A 29 km mountain SkyRace in Patterdale on 18 July 2026 with 2050 m ascent over St Sunday Crag and the Eastern Fells. Technical trails, electronic timing and checkpoints, plus a post-race meal and ranking points.

A semi technical 15km trail race around the base of Place Fell on the shores of Ullswater. Part of the Helvellyn Sky Ultra weekend, the route is fully marked, includes a mid route feed station and finishes with a recycled seed medal.

A 10K trail race at Northumberlandia on 18 July 2026 featuring varied terrain, a water station at mile 4 and a bespoke finisher medal. A 1 mile children's fun run accompanies the main event with free entry for children with an adult entry.

An AM fell race up Ingleborough across 11 km with about 600 m ascent, held during Ingleton's Gala day. Pre entry is available and places may be offered on the day if the 250 runner limit has not been reached.

A 50-mile, 5,500 ft circuit of Wensleydale and Swaledale on 18–19 July 2026, including Great Shunner Fell. Entries are limited and adults only; electronic trackers are mandatory and the route must be completed within 22 hours.

Tackle a scenic but testing 9.7 km trail in Coniston's Lake District with 732 m of climb, part of the Coniston Country Fair on Sun 19 Jul 2026. Entry on the day is £6 or included with fair admission. Minimum age 18 and teams are not allowed..

Join the Ravenscar Rumble revisited, a scenic fell race in Ravenscar on Wed 22 Jul 2026 covering 10 km with 250 m of climb through the North York Moors. Tea rooms stay open for post run treats and entry is on the day only.

Run Stately Trails: Aske at Aske Hall for an evening 5 km or 10 km loop, with a 5 km walk option. Limited to 200 runners, this mostly flat but muddy estate course winds through pastures and woodland for a scenic country trail.

Trail races at Constable Burton Hall on 23 July 2026 with 5km and 10km courses through parkland, pasture and woodland. Walkers may enter the 5km; finishers food, parking and an optional coaster medal are available.

A long-distance trail event in the Lake District offering a roughly 100-mile loop with about 6300 m ascent and a 50-mile option from Dalemain to Coniston. Both routes use footpaths and bridleways and include staffed compulsory checkpoints.

A 54 km circular ultra around the Yorkshire Wolds from Pocklington, featuring live GPS tracking, GPX navigation, four indoor checkpoints with vegan and gluten free food, free parking and eco-conscious finishers medals.

Tackle a classic Lake District fell race on Saturday 25 July 2026 at Beetham Sports Field, a 9.3 km route with 283 m of climb that rewards grit with stunning views. Entry on the day, plus junior sports day races and parking on site.

Tackle classic Lake District terrain at the High Wether Howe fell race on Sat 25 Jul 2026, a 14 km route with 485 m of climb starting and finishing at Stepps Hall. Entry on the day is welcome and proceeds support the Shap community fund.

Run 14 miles along the Northumberland coast from Beadnell to Alnmouth on 26 July 2026, mixing sand, road and trail and finishing on the beach. Limited places and a 3 hour 30 minute cut off for tide and safety mean book early.

The James Herriot Country Trail will take place in Leyburn on Sunday 26 July 2026. You can run 14 kilometers.

Ambleside Sports is a BOFRA fell race on Thursday 30 July 2026 at Rydal Park near Ambleside. The 1.70 mile course climbs about 800 feet over bracken paths to a rocky summit and includes both junior and senior routes.

Join Skipton's Rock up n' Run on 30 July 2026 for a lively evening 5k or 10k on road and trail as part of a pop up Summer Series. Turn up on the night, grab a jumble medal and enjoy hot food and a beer or soft drink.

Join the Heart Of The Lakes Rydal Round, a scenic Lake District fell run of 9 miles with 915 m climb around Rydal Park. Entry is on the day and the race opens Ambleside Sports; sports field admission applies.
