Punk Panther Harrogate Hustle

A scenic trail event that circles the spa town of Harrogate and passes through Knaresborough and the Nidd Gorge. The route runs at a radius of about 3–4 miles around Harrogate and is mostly on country paths. The ultramarathon route also follows the Knaresborough Round for part of the course.

Distances:

  • 14.3 miles - climb 1,105 ft.
  • 20.3 miles - climb 2,046 ft.
  • 34.3 miles - climb 2,468 ft.

All ultramarathon entrants receive a tracker; half marathon and 20 mile runners may hire a tracker for £15. Checkpoints provide water, coke, energy bars, crisps and a box of vegan and gluten free snacks. Competitors must carry required kit including a suitable bag, waterproof jacket, fluids, a cup, energy food, survival/bivvy bag, whistle, mobile phone with the race director contact stored, tracker when required, hat or buff, gloves, personal first aid kit, a hard copy map or route description and a head torch for the 34 mile course. Random kit checks will be carried out on course.

Other event details: minimum age 18, maximum entrants 200, registration at Pannal Village Hall, finish at Pannal Memorial Village Hall where finishers receive a medal and event T shirt unless they opt out. Parking is available at Pannal Railway Station or on-street. Arriving at a checkpoint after it has closed will result in retirement from the race. Support crews must avoid official checkpoint areas.
