The courses have stated climb values of 1105, 2046 and 2468 feet respectively. ITRA points are listed as 0, 1 and 2 for the distances, and UTMB qualification notes are Q20K for the shorter routes and Q50K for the longest.

Logistics include registration at Pannal Village Hall and a finish at Pannal Memorial Village Hall. Parking is available at Pannal Railway Station or on-street. Maximum entrants are limited to 200 and the minimum age is 18. Checkpoints provide water, coke, energy bars, crisps and boxes of vegan and gluten free snacks. If a competitor arrives at a checkpoint after it has closed they will be retired from the race.

All ultramarathon entrants are supplied with a tracker; half marathon and 20 mile runners can hire a tracker when entering. The tracker includes an emergency button that should be used if a runner needs help. Provisional GPX files and a route description are provided, with final instructions emailed to competitors before the event.

A minimum kit list applies to all distances and may be subject to random checks on course; failure to carry required kit can lead to disqualification. Finishers receive a medal and an event T shirt unless they opt out, and there is hot food including vegan and gluten free options at the finish.
