A muddy 5k obstacle course around Sefton Park with climb, crawl and slide elements; waves run every 15 minutes and participants must be 13 or older. The event supports fundraising and includes event support and a finishers medal.

Trail races at Piglove By The River in Leeds on 26 July 2026, with an ultra of about 43 to 45 km and a half of about 22 km. The flat riverside course is waymarked, passes nature reserves, and includes water stations, a medal and a pint.

A 28.5 km AL fell race on rugged Pennine moorland near Holmfirth with 1,285 m of ascent. Experienced runners only, navigation and mandatory kit required; entries are limited and the event follows FRA rules.

A one-lap 10 km trail run through Garendon Park on Sunday 26 July 2026, licensed and chip timed with a 400 runner limit. The undulating course mixes open stretches and wooded paths and includes race photos and a technical finisher T shirt.

MacTuffX Sheffield at Herringthorpe Stadium on 26 July 2026 pairs ten Xercises with repeated running legs and offers Solo, Doubles, or Relay entries for participants aged 18 and over, including a LITE weight division.

An obstacle 5k at Central Forest Park in Stoke On Trent organised by Cancer Research UK, where participants climb, crawl and slide across grass, woodland and tarmac while raising funds for cancer research. Participants must be 13 or older.

Tackle the Hameldon Quarry Race on 28 July 2026 in Hapton, Burnley, a lively 6.5 km trail with about 400 m of climb through Bowland terrain. Day entry only, low fees and team categories make it ideal for a spontaneous challenge.

A five mile multi terrain race around Alderley Edge, Nether Alderley and Hare Hill organised by Wilmslow Running Club. The route runs through woodland, lanes and fields, includes a team competition and is licensed by England Athletics.

A 10 km fell race at Lee Mill Quarry in the South/West Pennines on 29 July 2026. The course climbs 332 m, teams are allowed and entry on the day costs £5; the event is the first in the Rossendale Mid Week series.

A 6.4 km fell race near Llangollen with 289 m of climb and partial course marking. Entry on the day only for £5 and there are no toilet facilities because the café is closed.

A short, steep fell race on 29 July 2026 in Middletown covering 2.8 km with about 440 m of ascent. Pre-entry and on-the-day entry are offered and junior races are included in the summer series.

Evening 5 km and 10 km races from Piglove By The River in Leeds, on flat riverside trails along the Trans Pennine Trail. Limited entry, basic facilities, and a courtesy drink for finishers.

Ambleside Sports includes a BOFRA fell race on 30 July 2026 at Rydal Park. The course is 1.70 miles with 800 feet of climb through bracken to a rocky summit and includes senior and junior routes.

An evening pop-up running event in Skipton offering 5 km and 10 km races, pay-on-the-day places, a jumble medal and post-race hot food with drink options.

Join the Heart Of The Lakes Rydal Round, a scenic Lake District fell run of 9 miles with 915 m climb around Rydal Park. Entry is on the day and the race opens Ambleside Sports; sports field admission applies.
