Beat the Black Dog is a 12 km canitrail and trail run at Halo Ogmore Valley Life Centre in Ogmore Vale on 13 September 2026, held in aid of PAPYRUS Prevention of Young Suicide.

A roughly 10 km multi-terrain run around Crediton, mostly off road on footpaths, fields and quiet lanes. The course is signposted, offers water at 5 km and the finish, and includes medals, goody bags and category prizes.

A 12 hour Backyard Ultra on a 4.2 mile loop near Crickhowell in the Black Mountains, mixing trail and tarmac. Medals are awarded for 32 miles and trophies go to the first placed male and female on the final lap.

A community event tracing the River Exe from Exmouth to Dulverton, offering a 43 mile ultra and a non-competitive relay in shorter sections. The run raises awareness of the Exe salmon’s decline and includes local music and ceremonial moment..

Fan Brycheiniog is a 15.5 km mountain race in Glyntawe with 840 m of climb. The course runs over rough tracks and open fell and requires navigation and competent mountain skills.

A scenic, hilly trail half marathon in the Cothi valley near Pumsaint, offering a 13 mile race, a 6.5 mile alternative and a kids race, based at Pumsaint Village Hall on 20 September 2026.

A long running trail race in the Doone Valley, Exmoor covering about 16 km (10 miles) over scenic but hilly terrain. The 37th edition limits entries to 250, requires entrants to be at least 16 and uses chip timing.

A single loop 10K trail run at Woodbury Common on natural trails with climbs and stream crossings. All finishers receive medals and top male and female finishers receive prizes including a donated sports massage.

At Exeter Arena on 20 September 2026, MacTuffX combines ten strength Xercises with repeated runs across Solo, Doubles and Relay formats, offers a LITE weight division, and requires participants to be 18 or over.

An approximately eight mile multi terrain race around Crooklets and Maer Down in Bude featuring coastal and countryside trails, water stations, and a charity donation to Bude Surf Life Saving Club. Fancy dress is encouraged.

A fully supported 100 mile route around Cornwall on 26–27 September 2026, starting and finishing in Looe. Competitors have 39 hours, live GPS tracking, two ferry crossings and seven feed stations.
