Event Details

The Petrified Pootle is part of a Halloween race series. Participants can choose their target distance from a set of options and have a 7-hour time limit to complete it. The event is open to both walkers and runners.

Course

The course is a tough, off-road route within the grounds of Pengethley Manor, located near Ross-on-Wye. Each lap is 2.5 km in distance. The terrain includes a hill and a series of up and downs through two vineyards.

Additional Information

The event offers a virtual participation option, which can be completed anywhere in the world. Paid virtual entrants receive a medal upon completion and verification of their run. There is also an option to participate for free via the organizer's Strava club, which includes a results listing but no medal.

The event is one of several in the Halloween series, which includes other themed runs such as 'The Witches Whisk' and 'The Scary Scamper'. Participants receive a unique, Halloween-themed medal.
