The Petrified Pootle is a Halloween-series run held at Pengethley Manor, Ross-on-Wye (what3words: physical.growth.shelf) on 24 October 2025. Entrants choose one target distance and must complete it within a 7-hour time limit. The course is offroad and contained within the grounds of Pengethley Manor. Each lap is 2.5 km and the route includes a hill and a series of ups and downs through two vineyards. The event is open to walkers and runners. Entrants must be aged 18 or over.

Entry fees listed on the organiser page are: Race Entry £29.00, Virtual UK Entry £25.00, Virtual Overseas Entry £39.00. All entry fees are non refundable. A charity option is available: a £10.00 entry fee plus booking charges, conditional on raising at least twice that amount for the nominated charity and raising the funds at least four weeks before the event. Entries may be deferred to the next edition for a £15.00 fee if done more than four weeks before the event. Paid virtual entrants receive a personalised virtual bib by email and a medal posted after run verification; a free virtual option via the organiser’s Strava club records results but does not receive a medal.
