The Petrified Pootle

The Petrified Pootle is a Halloween series event held at Pengethley Manor, Ross-on-Wye. Entrants choose from multiple distances and have a seven hour time limit to complete their selected distance. The route is offroad and contained within the manor grounds.

Each lap measures 2.5k. The course includes a hill that is run on each lap and a series of ups and downs through two vineyards. The event is described as suitable for walkers and runners. Race bibs are collected at registration on the day and virtual bibs are emailed to paid entrants before the event.

A virtual entry option is available worldwide. Paid virtual entrants receive the same medal as race finishers; international postage may incur an additional cost. A free virtual participation route exists via the organiser's Strava club; free entries will appear on the results list but do not receive a medal.
