The Spooky Sprint takes place on 24th October 2026 at Pengethley Manor, Ross-on-Wye (what3words: physical.growth.shelf). The event is part of a Halloween race series and offers on-course and virtual options. The course is offroad and contained within the grounds of Pengethley Manor; it includes a short hill on each lap and a series of ups and downs through two vineyards. Each lap is 2.5 km and the organiser describes the course as very tough. Participants have a seven-hour time limit to complete their chosen target distance.

Entries, medals and rules

Entry fees listed by the organiser are: race entry £29.00, virtual UK entry £25.00, virtual overseas entry £39.00. All deposits and payments are non-refundable. A charity entry option is available for a £10.00 entry fee plus booking charges; this requires a commitment to raise at least twice the entry fee value for the nominated charity and to raise the money at least four weeks before the event. Paid entrants receive the same physical medal for race and virtual entries; medals may be supplied in green or orange depending on availability. Virtual participation can be recorded and verified for results or medal distribution; international postage costs for medals may apply.
