Course and format

The course is offroad and runs entirely within the grounds of Pengethley Manor. The route includes a hill and a series of ups and downs through two vineyards. The majority of URL event routes are not signed and runners are responsible for remaining on course; marshals are placed at selected locations.

Entries, medals and administration

Race entry fees are non refundable. Published fees include Race Entry £29.00, Virtual UK Entry £25.00, and Virtual Overseas Entry £39.00. A charity entry option is available for a £10.00 entry fee plus charges, subject to raising at least twice the entry fee for the nominated charity and raising the funds at least four weeks before the event. Paid entrants receive the same type of race or virtual medal; medals may be provided in either green or orange depending on availability and international posting may incur additional postage costs. Race bibs are collected at registration; virtual entrants receive a personalised virtual bib by email. A free virtual participation option without a medal is available and results can be submitted via the organiser’s Strava club or by sending proof of the run.
