The Zombie Shuffle : event details

The Zombie Shuffle takes place on 25 October 2026 at Pengethley Manor, Ross-on-Wye (what3words: physical.growth.shelf). Entrants choose one target distance:

  • 5k (2 laps)
  • 10k
  • Half Marathon
  • Marathon
  • Ultra

Each lap is 2.5 km. The course is offroad and runs entirely within the grounds of Pengethley Manor. The route includes a hill and a series of undulating sections through two vineyards. Entrants have a 7 hour time limit to complete their chosen distance. The event is described as suitable for walkers and runners.

Entries, medals and rules

Race entry and virtual entry options are available. Race entry fees are non refundable. Published fees include: Race Entry £29.00, Virtual UK Entry £25.00, Virtual Overseas Entry £39.00. A charity entry option is offered for a £10.00 entry plus booking charges; this requires raising at least twice the entry fee value for the nominated charity and completing fundraising at least four weeks before the event. Paid entrants who defer may transfer to the next edition for a £15.00 fee if done more than four weeks before the event.

Race bibs are collected at registration. Virtual entrants receive a personalised virtual bib by email. Paid virtual entrants can receive the same type of medal as race finishers; medals may be supplied in green or orange depending on availability. A free virtual option is available where a run can be recorded via the organiser’s Strava group and be included on results without receiving a medal. Entrants must be aged 18 or over and are responsible for their fitness, equipment, and for informing organisers of relevant medical conditions. Run a scenic, traffic free 6.5 mile (about 10K) lap of Croome Park with a big hill to start and finish. Trail shoes are recommended and all finishers receive medals and goody bags.
