Trail Running calendar near Chorley 2026-2027

The Inflatable 5K at Donington Park on 17 April 2027 is a lap-based inflatable obstacle run with giant slides, tunnels and five music zones. Distances range from 2.5 km to 15 km and include hydration, medical cover and a finisher medal.

A 102 mile trail ultramarathon around Chester on Saturday 17 April 2027 with 1590 m of ascent and a 32 hour cut off. The route links regional trails and canals, features 12 staffed checkpoints and live GPS tracking.

A 50 mile trail ultra from Malham across the Yorkshire Dales with 2593 m of ascent and live GPS tracking. The route includes Malham Cove and the Yorkshire three peaks and features five supported checkpoints and mandatory kit checks.

Trail running at Staveley, Cumbria with 5 km, 10 km and half marathon routes on marked, marshalled trails, varied terrain and an event village offering music, food and merchandise.

A 9.6 km fell race near Accrington on 2 May 2027 with 338 m of climb. It is a Category BS event with UK Athletics insurance, open to entrants aged 18 and over with pre entry and on the day options.

A muddy 5k obstacle course at The Knavesmire in York featuring climbs, crawls and slides. Waves start every 15 minutes and participants must be 13 or older. On-site parking, refreshments and a minimum fundraising target are part of the even..

A Peak District fell race from Rainow Institute covering 8 km (5 miles) with 230 m of climb. Pre-entry is required and opens 1 March 2027; fees are £9 for members and £10 for non-members.

A trail event at Brockholes Nature Reserve in Preston offering 10k, half marathon, marathon and timed ultra options on marked paths with refreshments, a bespoke medal and medical cover.

Pretty Muddy 5k at Weston Park is an obstacle course across paths, tracks and grass with some hills and on site parking. Entrants must be at least 13 and take part in staggered wave starts while raising funds for Cancer Research UK.
