September 2026

A sunset trail event at Ickworth Park offering 5K and 10K routes across limestone paths, woodland and meadows. The 10K is chip timed, all finishers receive a medal and the event operates as cupless with water refill points.

A scenic countryside trail event from Great Ponton through Lincolnshire villages offering four distances, checkpoint refreshments and finish food, organised as a charity challenge with beneficiaries to be confirmed.

An inaugural off road half marathon through Donyland Woods, Friday Woods and nearby countryside on Sunday 6th September. Entries were handled online and the event is listed as sold out with 26 entrants.

A countryside off road 10k along the Flitch Way with chip timing, water stations and finisher T shirt and medal. The event raises funds for Takeley Silver Jubilee Hall and includes a one mile family fun run.

A mostly off road 10 km trail run at Trifarm on 09 Sep 2026, the second race in a four event series. The clockwise loop uses public footpaths and bridleways and includes on site parking, a finish water tap and championship points.

On 12 September 2026 a 50 km ultra follows the Boudicca Way from Diss to Norwich, passing historic Iceni and Roman sites. The route is waymarked, the start is close to Diss train station and the event is limited to 250 places.

A point to point *50K* ultra along the Suffolk coast from Lowestoft to Aldeburgh, fully marked and carrying a 9 hour time limit. The route passes Southwold, Dunwich Heath, RSPB Minsmere, Sizewell and Thorpeness with staffed aid stations.

A Backyard Ultra at High Lodge, Thetford Forest where runners complete a *4 miles 880 feet* loop every hour; full, 12 hour and 6 hour entry options are available, with camping, basic aid station and chip timing.

A 50 mile circular ultramarathon through the Lincolnshire Wolds starting from Swallow Village Hall. The course gains about 1,370 m of elevation, features four aid stations, an 18 hour cut off and limited entry for 150 runners.

Peacock Plod is a multi distance running event set in the private grounds of Hockwold Hall, a former royal residence on the Norfolk Suffolk Cambridgeshire border. Runners follow a 5.3 km loop with distance options from 5k up to an ultra.

A multi-distance out and back run on 19 September 2026 at Suffolk Running Centre, featuring 5k to ultra options, regular aid stations, parking included and bespoke finisher medals.

A coastal trail marathon and half marathon finishing in Morston on mainly off road paths, with limited entries and a donation to the East Anglian Air Ambulance. Timing, checkpoints and first aid are provided along the route.
