Trail Running calendar near Carharrack 2026-2027

A coastal trail event on the South West Coast Path offering a 50 km Ultra and a Half Marathon. Both routes follow mainly trail terrain, include several aid stations and mandatory kit requirements, and finish at The Ness at Shaldon.

A coastal 15 km trail race along the north cliffs of Cornwall, Run Like Hell returns for its fifth year on 17 April 2027, starting at Portreath Beach with entry fees around £16 to £21 and a discount for those who cycle or run to the event.

A multi-distance route across Devon following the Two Moors Way from Wembury to Lynmouth on 17-18 April 2027. Options include 112 miles non stop, 100 km, 75 km and an Exmoor marathon with self navigation and live GPS tracking.

May 2027

A 5k obstacle event at Stithians Showground where participants climb, crawl and slide over gravel and grass terrain. Participants must be 13 or older and there is a minimum fundraising target of £50.

Trail races at Roadford Lake in Devon include a half marathon, 10K, 5K, canicross options and kids races, with chip timing, medals and finish line refreshments. Parking is charged at £5 per car.

A 13.1 mile waymarked trail run across Cornwall on 22 May 2027 from Portreath to Devoran Quay. Canicross is welcome, there is a midway checkpoint, timing via ST App Service, and an optional minibus return to Portreath.

Trail races at the Flete Estate near Mothecombe, South Devon, offering three marked courses from 8.5 to 28.5 miles along estate tracks, the Erme estuary and the South West Coast Path, with aid stations and finisher medals.

June 2027

A 44-mile coastal ultra from Lizard Point to Land's End on 6 June 2026, run as solo or relay teams over rocky, muddy trail with significant ascent and variable coastal weather.

A 110 km, six-stage trail across the five inhabited Isles of Scilly, with inter-island transitions and stage cut-offs. The route follows technical coastal paths with rocky and sandy sections.

Rame Head Race offers 10K, half marathon, marathon and canicross on a scenic coastal loop around Mount Edgcumbe Peninsula. Two laps equal a half marathon and four laps a marathon with on site camping and a short ferry connection available.

July 2027

A timed trail festival at Newnham Park with a 5 mile loop, 12/24/36 hour solo, pairs and team events, plus a timed kids race and participant camping.

A 10 mile looped multi‑terrain race from Lands End along Cornish coast paths and inland trails, with varied surfaces, a four hour cut off, finishers' medals and prizes for top finishers.

A 13.5 mile trail race on Lundy Island that traverses coastal and cliff-top trails. Raceboat entries include a day return ferry; non Raceboat entrants must arrange their own travel. Mandatory kit and a 3.75 hour time limit apply.

September 2027

Timed loop event at Tehidy Woods on 11 September 2027 where runners cover laps of a 4 mile circuit within chosen durations. Categories run for 3, 6, 9 or 12 hours and the most laps in each category wins.

A smaller challenge walk on Dartmoor on 19 September 2027, the third in the Dartmoor Diaries series hosted by LDWA Cornwall and Devon. Navigation skills are required and entrants receive route descriptions and GPX files in advance.

November 2027

A coastal marathon and ultra along the Cornwall coast from Pendeen to Godrevy with mixed terrain, steep climbs and significant elevation gain. Runners may finish in darkness; crew are permitted but support runners are not.

December 2027

A point to point road and coastal race from Lelant to Marazion in Cornwall on 4 December 2027, organised by Bys Vyken Events. Affiliated and non affiliated entries are available and the event holds an ARC permit.

June 2028

A trail running event in Bickington, United Kingdom organised by Relish The Great Outdoors Ltd. The published start list shows 466 entrants across 10 km, half marathon, 25 km, marathon and 50 km races with interval wave starts.

July 2029

A thirteen day end to end ultra across England covering about 503 miles with daily stages around 35 to 54 miles. Entries are limited, entrants receive personalised kit and tracking, and a 4 mph minimum pace is enforced.

A one-day ultra of about 37 to 38 miles from Liskeard to Truro that is Day 12 of the MTC Albion series. The field is limited, mandatory kit and real-time tracking are required, and a minimum 4 mph average speed is enforced.
