The event is a Pretty Muddy 5k obstacle course held on Saturday 09 May 2026 at Stithians Showground, Stithians, Cornwall TR3 7DP. The course start and finish are on grass. The route uses a mixture of gravel paths and grassy showground terrain and includes a series of obstacles to climb, crawl and slide through. Marshals are positioned on course to assist participants who choose to skip an obstacle.

Participants gather near the stone entrance to the main showground; the finish is opposite the toilets on the main showground. Start times are organised in staggered waves at 15 minute intervals to manage safety on the course. To take part participants must be at least 13 years old at the time of the event. Those with pre-existing medical conditions are advised to seek medical advice beforehand.

On-site facilities include refreshments, toilets and parking. Free parking is provided on grass within the showground; blue badge parking is available near the front of the event parking area. There are no electric vehicle charging points, no cycle racks, no bag drop and no showers. The event is not suitable for wheelchair users and is not suitable for pushchairs.
