The event is the third in a series of smaller challenge events based on Dartmoor, hosted by LDWA - Cornwall and Devon and scheduled for Dartmoor on 19 September 2027. Course details are to be confirmed.
Entries are open from 1 January 2027 and close on 24 August 2027. The published entry fee for LDWA members is £20.00. Entrants will be sent route descriptions and GPX files before the event. Certificates will be issued on the day to those who complete the walk.
Participants must be able to read a map, follow compass bearings, and have the knowledge, experience, equipment and navigational skills necessary to take part in all conditions, especially in bad weather. All routes will be covered by the OS Explorer OL28 Dartmoor map. Participants are required to follow the Dartmoor Ranger Code and the Countryside Code at all times.
Dogs are not permitted except for registered disability assistance dogs. The event includes standard terms, a disclaimer, and a cancellation and refund policy. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
