Borrowdale Fell Race on 1 Aug 2026 is a Lake District fell race of 27 km with about 2000 m ascent based at Rosthwaite village. Pre-entry is required, the fee is £16, teams of three are allowed and minimum age is 18.

A 10 km trail race through Gisburn Forest near Slaidburn Lancashire on Saturday 1 August 2026. The event is licensed by the Trail Running Association and includes chip timing, a race medal, professional photography and on site refreshments.

A fell race on Farleton Knott near Kendal with a **2.60 mile** route and 750 feet of climb, designated as a BOFRA Championship counter. Separate senior, under-17 and junior courses are provided and parking costs £3.

Join the Round Hill fell race for a challenging 14.1 km course with sweeping York Dales views, starting and finishing in charming Timble village. Entry is on the day for a small fee and part of the proceeds support brain tumour research.

A mid-summer out-and-back fell race from Mytholmroyd to Crow Hill and back, about 5 miles with 305 m ascent, including a woodland descent through Redacre Woods. Part of Todmorden Harriers' Summer Series.

Race 3 of the Bramhall Runners Foodbank series is a 5.5 km event at Happy Valley, Bramhall on 5 August 2026, with limited entries and proceeds supporting Stockport Foodbank.

A short fell race at Steel End Farm, Thirlmere in the Lake District covering 4 km with 400 m of climb. Day entry is available free, minimum age 16, and the race carries FRA permit and UK Athletics insurance.

A club cross country race on Thursday 6 August 2026 at Old Hall Farm, Gargrave. The senior course is 5 Mile with about 550 ft of ascent on an out and back route along the Pennine Way across Eshton Moor.

A multi-terrain club race on Thursday 6 August 2026 around Care & Repair, Rowley’s Drive, Shotton, covering approximately 4 miles. Pre-entry fees apply; entrants must be 17 or older and entries are limited.

A short BOFRA fell race from Arncliffe Village Green with a steep climb to a cairn and a split descent, plus a separate 4 mile road race; junior and senior categories and archived results back to 1991.

A 17 km fell race with 906 m of ascent across the east side of the Duddon Valley, visiting Grey Friar, Coniston Old Man, Dow Crag and White Pike. Mandatory FRA kit and map-and-compass navigation; entry is limited to 200 runners.

A 13.1 mile trail half marathon in the Derwent Valley on 9 August 2026, featuring 1666 ft of elevation and the Clockburn Lonnen in the first mile. The event includes on-course photography, post-run refreshments, a finisher T-shirt and cash..
