This fell race takes place at Wasdale Head, West Cumbria (CA20 1EX). The course distance is 3.8 km (2.4 miles) with 700 m (2,300 ft) of climb. Entry, categories and rules

Entry is available on the day; there is no pre-entry. Senior entry fee is £5. Junior races are included with categories Under 12, Under 14 and Under 17; there is no Under 9 category. Junior entry is £2. The minimum age on race day is 6. Teams are not allowed.

Compulsory kit requirements are specified. For U12 and U14 the compulsory item is a waterproof jacket with taped seams. For U17 and Senior the compulsory items are waterproof jacket and waterproof trousers with taped seams, plus hat and gloves. Fluorescent jackets without taped seams are not acceptable.
