Punk Panther Autumn Headtorch Half - basic information

The event takes place on 6 October 2026 and is organised by Punk Panther Ultra Marathons at Swinsty Moor Car Park (LS21 2NP). Entries open 30 November 2025 and close 5 October 2026. The minimum age is 16. Entry fee is £15.00 and maximum entrants are 150. To enter, competitors must log in or register with SiEntries. Registration is at the Punk Panther gazebo by the toilet block at the car park entrance.

Course and logistics

Distances and approximate climbs:

  • Half Marathon - approx two laps, climb 800 ft.
  • 10 km - approx one lap, climb 400 ft.
  • 5 km - approx one lap, climb 200 ft.

Route notes: the half is two laps of Swinsty and Fewston Reservoirs; the 10 km is one lap of both reservoirs; the 5 km is one lap of Swinsty Reservoir. The course will not be taped. Water will be available at the gazebo after the first lap and at the finish. Toilets are in the car park. The car park is pay and display - £3 for 6 hours, card only. The finish line is at the edge of the woods before the road to the car park. Every finisher receives a medal. A short race brief will be given at registration; final competitor instructions will be emailed the week before the event.
