Punk Panther Autumn Headtorch Half
The Punk Panther Autumn Headtorch Half is a head-torch trail event held on 6 October 2026 around Swinsty and Fewston Reservoirs, based at Swinsty Moor Car Park (North Lane, LS21 2NP). The event offers multiple course distances and uses reservoir paths and woodland sections; the half marathon consists of two laps of the Swinsty and Fewston circuit.
Distances:
- Half Marathon: two laps of Swinsty and Fewston Reservoirs
- 10 km: one lap of Swinsty and Fewston Reservoirs
- 5 km: one lap of Swinsty Reservoir
Climb for the courses is listed as approximately 800 ft for the half, 400 ft for the 10 km and 200 ft for the 5 km. The maximum number of entrants is 150 and the minimum age to enter is 16. Entry fee information is published on the event listing. The course will not be taped. Water is available at the event gazebo after the first lap and at the finish. Toilets are located in the car park.
Competitors are required to carry a head torch and a charged mobile phone with the race director’s number stored. A short race brief will be given at registration and final competitor instructions will be emailed to entrants before the event. Every finisher receives a medal.
