Punk Panther Autumn Headtorch Half

Punk Panther Autumn Headtorch Half is a weekday head-torch trail event held at Swinsty Moor Car Park, running around Swinsty and Fewston Reservoirs. Distances offered are a half marathon and shorter laps, with approximate climbs listed for each distance. The event has a maximum of 150 entrants and a minimum age of 16.

Distances:

  • Half marathon: two laps of Swinsty and Fewston Reservoirs
  • 10 km: one lap of Swinsty and Fewston Reservoirs
  • 5 km: one lap of Swinsty Reservoir

Climb figures are given as approximately 800 ft for the half marathon, 400 ft for the 10 km and 200 ft for the 5 km. The course will not be taped. Water is available at the Punk Panther gazebo after the first lap and at the finish. Toilets are located in the car park. Registration takes place at the Punk Panther gazebo by the toilet block at the car park entrance. Every finisher receives a medal.

Entries open on 30 November 2025 and close on 5 October 2026. The stated entry fee is £15. Final competitor instructions will be emailed to entrants the week before the event. Results and course records are published after the race. Parking at Swinsty Moor Car Park is pay and display; the posted tariff is £3 for six hours card only.
