November 2026

Striders Trail 5 returns to Sankey Visitors Centre on 1 November 2026. The St Helens Striders event uses local trails, is limited to 250 places with a minimum age of 15, and has separate fees for affiliated and unaffiliated runners.

Trail running events from Jenkin’s Field, Glenridding feature 10 km and 14 km routes with boat transfers to the start when available, compulsory kit checks for boarding, and well marked, marshalled courses along Ullswater’s eastern shore.

Eight-day race series in Telford offering 8 miles, 16 miles or a 26.2 mile marathon each day. Each day is a separate race with its own medal and Race HQ at The Unicorn Inn in Little Dawley.

Trail races in Hartington, Peak District offering 8.4 km and 16.4 km waymarked routes, local cheese samples and a goodie bag from Hartington Cheese Shop. Participants must be 18 plus and the long course requires mandatory kit.

An inclusive canicross event at Mere Sands Wood on 1 November 2026 offering a timed one mile run and an optional 2.5 km social run around the reserve.

Shepshed 7 on 1 November 2026 features a measured seven mile, chip timed race through Garendon Park plus a fun run with entries on the day; prizes, a commemorative t shirt for finishers, and limited onsite facilities are provided.

A chip timed trail event in Grizedale Forest with views over Coniston Water, offering 10K and 5K routes. Two dogs per runner are allowed when on a suitable harness and the course is fully marked.

A hilly trail event near Moel Famau offering 17 km and 10 km waymarked routes with checkpoints, mandatory kit requirements and reduced single use plastic measures. Support and recce days are provided by Run True.

A night trail run at Swinsty & Fewston Reservoir with looped courses of 3.3 miles or 6.7 miles. The route is marshalled and signed, has aid stations about every 3 miles, and finishers receive a bespoke medal.

A TRA-licensed trail event around Fewston and Swinsty reservoirs featuring an undulating 6.7-mile loop and multiple race distances. The course is waymarked and marshalled, with aid stations, on-site facilities, and a bespoke finisher medal.

A 10 km BS fell race near Todmorden with about 350 m ascent on a fast, muddy course featuring a steep descent off Stoodley Pike and a sharp climb back. Minimum age 18, entry on the day £5, strict FRA kit requirements apply.

An 11 km fell run in Burley-in-Wharfedale on 7 November 2026 with 250 m of climb. Pre-entry and entry on the day are possible at modest fees, the event is for adults and carries FRA permit insurance.

Tackle a scenic but testing fell race in Dunnerdale, Lake District: 8 km with a 550 m climb over rugged hills. Pre entry only, join solo or as a three person team for a classic Broughton Mills Village Hall start.

Trail marathon, half marathon and 10k from Goathland on 7 November 2026. Courses are unmarked so runners must carry printed maps and mandatory winter safety kit.

A dog-friendly trail event at Swinsty & Fewston Reservoirs with 3.3 mile and 6.7 mile looped routes on mainly off-road paths, marshals, waymarking, feed stations and a bespoke finisher medal.

A cross country run and walk across the Leicestershire Wolds, the twenty second Seagrave Wolds Challenge covers about 16 miles of hilly, multi terrain paths and private land, with food stops en route and charitable proceeds.
