Shepshed, United Kingdom • 2 Nov 2025

Event overview

The Shepshed 7 takes place on Sunday 2 November 2025 at Iveshead School, Shepshed (LE12 9DA). The event is organised as a measured, two-lap 7-mile race on a multi-terrain, traffic-free course through the private grounds of Garendon Park by kind permission of Persimmon Homes. The 2025 route has been changed from the usual course because of construction work on part of the original route.

Entries are limited (maximum 400). Entrants must be at least 16 years old. Entries close on 19 October 2025; entrants who register by 25 September 2025 are guaranteed their chosen T-shirt size. Refunds and deferrals are not permitted; transfers are allowed until 26 October 2025.

Race format and facilities

  • 7 miles (measured, two laps)
  • Fun run (separate, lower fee; entries accepted on the day)

There is a commemorative T-shirt for 7-mile finishers, an extensive prize list including individual and team awards, and a rule of one individual prize per person. Onsite facilities include toilets, changing, limited parking, and hot and cold refreshments. The course surface is a mix of grass, gravel and hard surfaces; parts of Garendon Park can become muddy and form puddles after heavy rain.
