Shepshed 7 takes place on Sunday 1st November 2026 at Iveshead School, Shepshed, LE12 9DA. The main event is a measured seven mile race run on a traffic free countryside route through Garendon Park by kind permission of Persimmon Homes.
The seven mile race is chip timed and fully marshalled. Entrants must be over 16 to compete. There is a commemorative t shirt for all seven mile finishers and spot prizes in the main race. Facilities on site include toilets and changing, limited free parking, and hot and cold refreshments.
Entry for the main race is available in advance only. Entry fees are £22 for affiliated runners and £24 for unaffiliated runners, with entries closing on 30th October 2026. The deadline to guarantee a chosen t shirt size is 5pm on Thursday 25th September; after that entrants will receive varied sizes. There are no entries on the day for the main race.
Prizes comprise trophies and other awards across multiple categories, with one individual prize per person. Individual and team awards cover male and female overall places, age categories from Under 20 to V80, and team awards for the top three teams.
