Seagrave Wolds Challenge 2026

The twenty second edition of the Seagrave Wolds Challenge takes place on Saturday 7 November 2026 in Seagrave, Leicestershire. The event starts and finishes at Seagrave War Memorial Hall, Green Lane, Seagrave, LE12 7LU.

The route changes each year but is typically approximately 16 miles. It is a cross country run and walk over varied terrain through the Leicestershire Wolds, using public footpaths and sections of private land. The course includes hilly and multi-terrain sections.

The event is described as a personal challenge against the terrain, weather and distance rather than a race. Well behaved dogs are welcome. There are food and drink stops on the route, and finish-line refreshments include cobs, cakes and Seagrave apple crumbles.

Logistics and entry details are limited: maximum entrants are 700 and entries close on 31/10/2026. Transfers close on 01/11/2026. Minimum age is 10 years and entrants under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Entry fees listed for 2026 are Adult (16-64 years) £28.00, Over 65s £15.00 and Under 16s £15.00.
