Trail Running calendar near Alston 2026-2027

Tackle Kirkby Moor's classic BM fell race on Sat 28 Nov 2026, a 10.5 km route with 490 m of climb across stunning Lake District terrain. Entry on the day from Kirkby Community Centre, with team entries and season trophies at stake.

A 24 hour route of 51 miles across the South Pennines from Marsden to Ilkley that visits six Stanza Stones inscribed with poems about water. The event features checkpoints, live tracking and professional medical support.

A trail 10 km loop through Marton Mere and past Blackpool Zoo on 29 November 2026, finishing in the grounds of the Village Hotel. All finishers receive a bespoke medal and refreshments are provided.

A team relay at Lee Mill Quarry where each of four runners completes a flagged 10.7 km lap. The event is based at Stubbylee Hall in Rossendale and includes strict kit requirements and a 120 team limit.
