Trail Running calendar near Addingham 2026-2027

The Three Shires Fell Race is a 22 km mountain event with 1535 m of climbing. Starting from Tilberthwaite Farm, this classic fell race requires navigational skills and specific safety kit for all participants.

Thieveley Pike Fell Race is an AS-category 4.3 mile fell race near Cliviger with about 400 m of ascent, a flagged and marshaled moorland route, specified kit requirements and prizes across senior and veteran categories.

A 24 hour trail event at Leighton Hall in Cumbria on 26 September 2026 where individuals, teams and couples run laps of a 5 km offroad course. Teams range from 3 to 12 runners and minimum ages apply.

Introduced in 2026, a 12 mile trail race in National Trust Clumber Park on 26 September 2026. The route is fully marshalled with water stations and finishers receive a medal, water and banana. Minimum age 17 and a three hour cut off.

Tower to Castle Ultra 30 covers 30.9 miles from Blackpool Tower to Lancaster Castle with a ferry crossing at Fleetwood, way marked sections and compulsory checkpoints. Pre registration is required and entries close 20 September 2026.

A charity relay in Malham on 27 September 2026 with mixed teams formed on the day and an entry fee of £5 per person. The route climbs near the summit of Cawden Hill then returns on a direct descent.

A BM category fell race in Waddington on 27 September 2026 covering 11.3 km with 415 m ascent. The route is marshalled and partially flagged with a checkpoint on Waddington Fell and a cut off at Summit House Farm.

A BM fell race around Wirksworth covering 13.7 km with 457 m of ascent, run on varied quarry, trail and pasture terrain under FRA licence. The route includes steep climbs, Harborough Rocks and views toward Carsington Water.

A 10 km trail race at Rising Sun Country Park near Newcastle upon Tyne on 27 September 2026, featuring mixed terrain through grassland and woodland. A Canicross option is available and the minimum age is 16.

Trail Half Marathon and 10K through Delamere Forest on marked, technical woodland trails with chip timing, aid stations and a canicross option, plus eco-friendly measures and on-site race HQ at the visitor centre.

A trail event in Blackpool on 27 September 2026 using a 10K loop for 10K, half marathon, marathon and ultra distances, passing Marton Mere, Blackpool Zoo and offering on-course refreshments and bespoke finisher medals.

A four leg fell running relay in the Lake District on 3 October 2026, raced by teams of eight over steep climbs and rough terrain. Entry is by club via SiEntries, limited to 70 teams with a £100 fee per team.

Rowbotham's Round Rotherham is a long distance trail event around South Yorkshire with solo and relay options over 80 km or 50 miles. The undulating route includes about 800 m of climb and is based at the Manvers Waterfront Boat Club.

Two routes from Buxton Community School through the western Peak District: 26.2 miles with 4000 ft ascent or 14.3 miles with 2000 ft ascent. Checkpoints provide refreshments and a hot meal at the finish.
