The BHAA BMS 5K Trail Race will take place in Townparks on Thursday 6 August 2026.

Two uphill mountain races in Barravore, Wicklow: a long 6.2 km (755 m climb) and a short 4 km (490 m climb); capped at 50 entries.

A three day mountain crossing across the Comeragh, Galty and Knockmealdown Mountains with options to complete one or two days.

A marked mountain half marathon in Tinahely, County Wicklow with about 21.7 km and 1,080 m of ascent. Part of the Leinster Half Marathon League, it awards 1 ITRA point and includes mandatory Level B kit requirements.

A new 10 km trail race in County Wicklow with 500 m of climb and a route still to be confirmed. The event is part of the Leinster Weekend, requires Level B kit, and does not allow GPS devices.

A hill run around Paddock Hill near Laragh County Wicklow organised by local mountain rescue teams with looped courses of about 8 km and a roughly 5 km junior course on fully marked trails.

Trail races on 15 August 2026 at Laragh GAA, Knockfin, featuring 20k, 10k and junior 3k courses through Derrybawn Ridge and Woods.

A Southeast League mountain race in County Carlow on 16 August 2026, featuring a 9 km main course with about 500 m climb and a 5 km short course. Level B mandatory kit is required and registration is at the Deerpark carpark.

Trail race at Mount Melleray in County Waterford on Sunday 16 August 2026. The course is about 8.00 km with 250 m of climb; only major junctions are marked and Level B mandatory kit is required.

An 8 km mountain fundraiser at Lough Tay with a 5 km short course, fully marked routes, Level B mandatory kit, and entry fees of €7/€5.

An open mountain race in County Tipperary to the top of Galtymore and back over Cush and Galtybeg. The full course is 13 km with 1300 m ascent, route unmarked and Level C mandatory kit required.

Cush Galtees is a 4.5 km mountain run in County Tipperary with 400 m ascent, a fully marked out-and-back route and mandatory Level B kit.

A 14.30 km mountain running event in County Wexford with about 1000 m of climb. The unmarked route visits Slievebawn, Carrigoulahan and Blackstairs Mountain and requires Level B mandatory kit.

September 2026

A marked mountain trail event at Crotty's Lake, Comeragh Mountain, with a 7 km course and a 5 km short/junior route; jackets are mandatory and GPS is not allowed.

A map and compass navigational event in the Comeraghs, County Waterford on 13 September 2026, with long and short unmarked mountain courses. Mandatory Level C kit is required and GPS navigation is not allowed for competitive results.

A community led trail running festival in Fauna Forest, Donard offering 5 mile, 10 mile and half marathon routes with marked courses, aid stations and post race refreshments.

A 16.4 km mountain circuit in Wicklow with about 1000 m ascent, unmarked route and GPS allowed. Level C mandatory kit is required and the event forms part of the Leinster Championship.

A 10 km charity trail run around Avondale Forest Park in Rathdrum with run and walk options, marshals, on course water and a post race prizegiving; entry €35.

A three leg mountain relay across County Wicklow covering 49 km and 2,170 m ascent. The route is unmarked, GPS devices are not allowed and Level C mandatory kit must be carried.
