Crotty's Lake

Crotty's Lake is a mountain trail event in the Comeragh Mountains, County Waterford, scheduled for Saturday 12th September 2026. The main course is about 7.00 km with approximately 250 m of climb. A short course and junior route of 5.00 km is also provided with a marshal at the turnaround.

The route will be fully marked. GPS devices are not allowed. The route map will be updated before the race. The loop section around Crotty's Lake is technical and can be slippy even on dry ground, so trail shoes with good grip are advised.

Mandatory kit is Level A Basic and includes a showerproof, windproof jacket. All runners must bring the listed items and be able to carry them during the race. Organisers may perform random kit checks and lack of required items can lead to refusal of entry or disqualification. Headphones are not permitted during IMRA races. Race numbers should be worn on the front of the chest.

The event takes place on private land with landowner permission. There is ample car parking at a charge of €2 per car. Registration opens at 9.45am and closes at 10.45am. Prizegiving will take place at the finish area.
