Blackstairs Loop

Blackstairs Loop is a mountain running event in County Wexford scheduled for Sunday 30th August 2026. The course distance is 14.30 km with approximately 1000 m of climb. The route is not marked and GPS devices are not allowed.

The event is part of the Leinster Championship. Entry fees are listed as €7 for seniors and €5 for competitors aged over 65 and under 18. Entries open on 24th August 2026 and close on 29th August 2026. There is an overall entry limit of 250 places.

Mandatory Level B kit is required. This includes a waterproof jacket, hat or buff, gloves, a whistle, a charged mobile phone with the emergency number stored, and a foil blanket, bivvy bag or equivalent. All runners must bring these items; the final list of kit to be carried during the race will be confirmed at Registration and may vary depending on conditions. Competitors should have a means to carry the required kit.
